One cannot overstate the value of labor education, particularly in a nation like the Philippines where labor regulations are frequently changed and updated. It is very important for us to understand the laws that protect us from exploitation and abuse as students and to learn about our rights and obligations as future employees.
I recently had the chance to participate in a labor education class where I learnt about the fundamental rights of workers, the rules governing workplace safety, and other significant facets of the Philippine Labor Code.
